Maple Trees Aglow In Holiday Red December 19, 2020 October 13, 2020 - A wonderful 'holiday scene' of Red Maple trees aglow among the lush fall splendor at Hazel Mountain Overlook in Shenandoah National Park. The overlook is located in the northern part of the Central District of Shenandoah one mile south of Mary’s Rock Tunnel at mile marker 33. Shenandoah National Park, located in Virginia, is a land bursting with cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, fields of wildflowers, and quiet wooded hollows.
