Miguel Garcia (8) - Soldier For A Day

 Eight-year-old Miguel Garcia's wish to become an Army Soldier came true on November 7, 2020 at a Make-A-Wish Foundation event at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. A happy Miguel Garcia was able to experience a variety of activities including assisting in landing a helicopter over the radio, touring a variety of military equipment, and hands-on rifle simulation training. He also received a special flag plaque with a variety of Army  badges and his name on it.

Coordination between the Illinois and Wisconsin Make-A-Wish  Foundation branches in conjunction with Fort McCoy, the Wisconsin Army National Guard, and many volunteer support units helped make Miguel Garcia's wish to be a Soldier for a day come true.
