Sailors Celebrate U.S. Navy's 245th Birthday October 14, 2020
October 13, 2020 - Sailors celebrate the Navy’s 245th Birthday celebration at several bases in the USA and Japan with decorated birthday cakes. The theme for this year, “Victory at Sea,” closes the 75th anniversary commemoration of World War II, and also recognizes 245 years of warfighting excellence, and relating them to modern Sailors who carry that heritage forward today.
