Military Police Wreath-Laying Remembrance Ceremony September 29, 2020
September 24, 2020 - The Office of the Provost Marshall General holds a Military Police Wreath-Laying Remembrance Ceremony at the gravesite of U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Gregory Rodriguez in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. The ceremony was hosted by U.S. Maj. Gen. Donna Martin, commanding general, U.S. Army Criminal investigation Command, Provost Marshal General of the Army. Rodriguez was assigned to the K-9 unit of the 527th Military Police Company, 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th MP Brigade, Ansbach, Germany. While stationed in Ana Kalay, Afghanistan supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Rodriguez’s mounted patrol came under small arms fire. Rodriguez died September 2, 2008 from wounds suffered.
