Coast Guard Interdicts Haitian Migrants July 16, 2020
July 2, 2020 - A Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce 33-foot Special Purpose Craft-Law Enforcement crew embarks illegal migrants approximately 26 miles east of St. Lucie, Florida. The Coast Guard interdicted 14 Haitian migrants east of St. Lucie with ten going to Bahamian authorities in Freeport, Bahamas; two medevaced; and. two transferred to U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents in Lake Worth Inlet.
