November 7, 2015 - Veterans and other patriots visit with the producers and cast of the insightful “We Answered the Call” documentary after its viewing at the Branson’s IMAX Entertainment Complex-Elite Cinema III 3rd annual Military Film Festival that occurs during Veterans week in Branson, MO. The film was based on the same titled book authored by U.S. Army Retired Col. James Wilhite ... who is centered below the sign in black shirt with glasses assisting a fellow veteran. “We Answered the Call” recounts Wilhite's amazing story, from the shock of an unexpected deployment to the tribulations of life in a war zone.  Despite the chaos, this professor from Oklahoma and his dedicated team of Afghan, American and NATO colleagues used their diversity, their savvy and their drive to overcome all obstacles and build a symbol of hope for the people of Afghanistan, the National Military Academy of Afghanistan (NMAA).  2015 marks the 10-year anniversary of the mission to build the NMAA ... which is a remarkable success story by America's military that every American should know about ... and a battle won not in combat ... but with education that might one day be the difference in sustaining a successful Afghanistan mission ... from within.
