The Orbital Science Corporation Antares rocket is seen as it is raised into position at launch Pad-0A, Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. The Antares will launch a Cygnus spacecraft on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. The Orbital-1 mission is Orbital Sciences' first contracted cargo delivery flight to the space station for NASA. Among the cargo aboard Cygnus set to launch to the space station are science experiments, crew provisions, spare parts and other hardware. The launch is scheduled for January 7, 2014. Soldiers of 1st Platoon, Battery A, 4th Battalion 25th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division conducted a live fire exercise Jan. 15, 2014 on their M119 and M777 howitzers. The soldiers shown here are firing their M777 howitzer. The live fire validated the calibration of the weapon system as well as ensured the soldiers maintain their proficiency as a gun crew.
