This year's
Cherry Hill's "9-11
Remembrance & Patriotic
Gratitude" event is
scheduled for April 20th to
May 1st, 2008. |
|
Every year since the
infamous 9-11 attack on
America - hundreds of
blossoming cherry trees,
continuous on a two-mile
avenue, are adorned with
American flags & yellow
ribbons to pay homage to the
9-11 victims, their families
and to our fighting men and
women. We, as a proud
community, can never forget
this sad day for America. We
need all facets of our
community to proudly
participate in this year's
event.
Our two-mile avenue of
blossoming cherry trees,
American flags and yellow
ribbons will reflect our
pride, our compassion to the
victims of 9-11 and as well
show our support of our
fighting men and women.
Sixteen additional cherry
trees will be added to this
scenic route this year.
American flags will be
installed on April 13th by
volunteers from the American
Legion Post 372. |
