Moving Tribute To Fallen Hero (August

Staff Sgt. John Beale |
|
A friend, who is a Marine veteran,
made me aware of a very moving video about the wonderfully
memorable journey of the body of fallen hero Staff Sergeant
First Class John C. Beale (39) being returned to Falcon
Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, on
June 11, 2009 . . . Sergeant Beale and two fellow soldiers,
Maj. Kevin M. Jenrette (37) and Spc. Jeffrey W. Jordan (21),
were killed in action the
week before (June 5, 2009) in Afghanistan.
Well, all I can
say is that . . . it was
very emotional seeing all the fellow American's honoring
Sergeant Beale along the entire route to
Falcon Field.
It also reminded me (again) of all the
other brave ones who made the ultimate sacrifice . . . with
all deserving the same. And being the father of a Marine
veteran who served in Iraq . . . it was especially heart
grabbing to see the love and pride shown towards Sergeant
Beale. |
|
In fact, my poems,
Honoring The Fallen and
Tears For Your Fallen, came
from the same emotions and will remain my perpetual homage to all of
the fallen heroes. (My poem,
Our Wounded, was written as an
ongoing tribute to all who bear the physical and mental scars that
resulted from bravely serving the USA.)
So, I hope you set aside
some quiet time to
experience this
endearing display of respect by fellow Americans towards Staff
Sergeant John C.
Beale . . . as it exemplifies how every American
should feel towards our fallen heroes and troops. |
Nor should there ever be politics here
. . . as fellow Americans'
Uncommon Valor over
the enduring |
course of our beloved America are why
we all remain free and enjoy all that our great country
is . . . And none more so than the fallen and wounded
heroes . . . like Staff Sergeant John Beale,
Maj. Kevin Jenrette, and Spc. Jeffrey Jordan!
