Fire Reveals World War II Fighting Positions In Guam
April 3, 2014 - A fire uncovered
century-old fighting positions most recently used during the
battle for Guam in World War II. Local Marines visited the
site recently to assist the National Park Service in a site
survey of the historical find, which came just months before
the 70th anniversary of Guam's island-wide liberation
celebration in July 2014.
