The National D-Day Memorial is a war memorial located in Bedford, Virginia. And while it serves as the national memorial for American D-Day veterans ... this solemn, heartfelt remembrance ... honors all the Allied forces that participated in the invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 during World War II. It is an inspiring tribute that reminds all of the valor, fidelity, and sacrifice of those involved during the D-Day invasion.

It is maintained and operated by the National D-Day Memorial Foundation with the mission to preserve the lessons and legacy of D-Day.
