to an air base in the Al Asad, Iraq area ... where he thanks
and interacts U.S. troops; and, meets
with Lt. Gen. David Petraeus, Ryan Crocker, U.S. Ambassador
to Iraq, and the staff of the air base. Secretary of State
Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates
accompanied President Bush on the visit.
