December 2008 -
(1) U.S. Army Soldiers, from White Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 35th Armored Regiment and 40th Engineer Battalion, both from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, using minesweepers, metal detectors, and mine rollers to clear a palm grove in Al-Rahman, for land mines. (2) An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, from the U.S. Air Force, clearing a house, first with a robot, and then an EOD Technician, putting on a bomb suit, and visually inspecting the house.
