Soldiers Disrupt Enemy In Ghazni
And Suffer A Fallen Brother
On November 9, 2012 soldiers with Army 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry from 1st Infantry
Division in Ghazni Province travel through one of the most dangerous areas in
Afghanistan, because of information about 2 HBED's in the area and to disrupt enemy moment. During the patrol the Soldiers took
small arms fire from all sides. Late in the day Capt. James Nehl was hit by an
enemy sniper with the wound resulting in his death.
