Working Dogs, or MWD's have been a valuable asset to the
U.S. Military since the “War Dog Program” in World War
II. While responsibilities of the MWD's have changed
over the decades, their contributions to the armed
forces have remained invaluable. Here is a look at military working
dogs being trained by their Marine Corps handlers at
Kadena Air Base in Japan.
