Jackson Beatty, an 18-year-old
senior at Lejeune High School, received the Marine Corps
Military Child of the Year 2017 Award during the
Operation HomeFront Military Child of the Year Award
Gala in Washington DC. Beatty was selected for the award
because of his near-perfect GPA, volunteer hours and his
outstanding athleticism.
