January 2017 - Highlights of the
illustrious history of the Second Marine Division ... from
the island hopping campaign in the Pacific theater of World
War II, to the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan Marines of
the "Follow Me" Division proved themselves to be a
formidable fighting force, and continue to serve in every
clime and place. The sun has never set on the Second Marine
Division.
