Marines
& Sailors Conduct Live-Fire Assault Blue Chromite 17
November 2016 - U.S. Marines and
Sailors assigned to 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment which
is forward deployed from Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, to 3rd Marine
Division, conduct an live-fire assault during exercise Blue Chromite 2017 in Okinawa,
Japan.
Blue Chromite is a large-scale amphibious mission
rehearsal which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps
expeditionary, amphibious rapid response capabilities based
in Okinawa and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
