February 10, 2016 - Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 5 and
1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conducted
a mass casualty simulation drill during Integrated Training
Exercise 2-16 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center
Twentynine Palms, California. The drill began
with taking hostile indirect-fire, resulting in multiple
casualties with severe wounds. It challenged Marines and
Sailors on their ability to react and work together to
triage and treat patients accordingly.
