Marines with the Marine Corps Warfighting
Laboratory along with Marines of Company B, 1st Battalion,
1st Marine Regiment, concluded the first two weeks of a
limited objective experiment aboard Marine Corps Base Camp
Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 13, 2015. The event included the
integration of Internally Transported Vehicles (ITV) with
infantry battalions to improve the way troops operate on the
ground. The experiment's objective is to provide MCWL with
an understanding of how the vehicles will be added to the
battalions. Further testing provides the Marines with
extensive amounts of terrain over a 3-week training period.
