British Royal Marine Commandos,
Romanian Mountain Brigade soldiers and U.S. Marines with
Black Sea Rotational Force conduct the culminating three-day
final exercise during Exercise Platinum Lynx, May 12-14,
2015. The British Royal Marine Commandos conducted
reconnaissance of the area in the Carpathian Mountain Range
early that morning to support the movement of U.S. Marines
into an assault position while the Romanian soldiers
conducted the support by fire. Roughly 45 Romanians, 25 U.S.
Marines and 13 British Royal Marine Commandos participated
in the exercise.
