AV-8B Harriers Take Off and Land On USS Bonhomme Richard

U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier jet
pilots perform short takeoffs and vertical landings aboard
the USS Bonhomme Richard on January 28, 2015 in association
with conducting Spring Patrol 2015. The AV-8B Harrier jets
are with Marine Attack Squadron 231 (VMA-231), assigned to
the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit as part of the aviation
combat element. The 31st MEU is the only continuously
forward deployed MEU.
