U.S. Marines from Company I,
Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st
Marine Expeditionary Unit alongside Philippine Marines with
4th Marine Company, Battalion Landing Team 9, work together to demonstrate
amphibious capabilities while partnered together during the
Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 15 at the Naval
Education and Training Command, Zambales, Philippines on
October 5, 2014.
PHIBLEX 15 is an annual, bilateral
training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the
Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen
interoperability across a range of capabilities to include
humanitarian and civic actions, disaster relief and
contingency operations.
