August 26, 2014 - An annual training exercise entitled
Desert Fire involving an active shooter incident with
casualties is held at the Cannon Air Defense Complex base
in Yuma, Arizona. Marines and civilian personnel with the
Provost Marshals Office used simulated weapons to ensure
safety throughout the exercise in an effort to further their
skills and practice the force-in-readiness tactics needed to
deal with any situation.
