26th Marine Expeditionary Unit
Sustainment Training 2013
U.S. Marines of Company K, Battalion Landing Team 3/2, of
the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) perform immediate
action drills while integrating with amphibious assault
vehicles on August 2, 2013 and take part in a live fire
range using M203 40mm grenade launchers on August 3, 2013.
The 26th MEU is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force
forward-deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of
responsibility aboard the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group
serving as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force
capable of conducting amphibious operations across the full
range of military operations.
