The Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 251 returns safely home
to waiting proud family and friends on October 31, 2012,
after an eight month tour of duty aboard the USS Enterprise
that's mission encompassed the Mediterranean, Mideast and
Persian Gulf region. Known as the Thunderbolts, the squadron
also flew in support of troops in Afghanistan. The
Thunderbolts flew 432 combat missions during the operation.
