What "Good To Go" Means To Marines and Their Families
On
October 13, 2012, U.S. Marines and family members talk
about what "Good To Go"
means to them at several events such as
Suicide Awareness & Prevention, Drug & Alcohol Awareness,
and Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention.
Being “Good to Go” signifies that Marines and Sailors, as
well as their loved ones, feel supported and empowered with
strong mental, physical, social, and spiritual fitness.
Because of this they are better able to withstand, recover,
and grow in the face of stress and adversity. If a Marine is
Good to Go, in times of crisis they actively seek help for
themselves, their families and their fellow Marines and
Sailors.

Services. Activities include a kickoff party, bowling and
golf tournaments, a carnival, concerts, exhibits and more
provide to an opportunity for Marines and their families to
come together— whether it be the family they were sworn
into, born into, or married into— while learning how to be a
leader within their Marine Corps family when it comes to a
time of crisis.
