December 2016 - The U.S. Air Force's premier
fifth generation aircraft, the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning, have
taken to the skies of Tyndall Air Force Base for Exercise Checkered
Flag 17-1. The F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning joined legacy
aircraft, the F-15 and F-16, in combat training ... giving their
pilots an opportunity to hone their skills in a diverse fighter
aircraft deployed environment.
