Air Force Academy's First Class Mentors Class of 2017
June 27, 2013 -- The class of 2017 entered the Air Force
Academy recently. It's the 59th class to begin basic
cadet training at the newest of the service academies..
Itt was a
very different first day experience of the first class of 1959
with some welcoming the newest class ... paying it forward. Lt.
Col. (ret) Curtis Cook even talks about the academy in 1954,
which it was a very different place. You can forgive that he
doesn't remember much of that first day. Not because of age, but
circumstance..
