Angel Thunder 2013, conducted
during April in Arizona and New Mexico, is the world's
largest Personnel Recovery (PR) exercise, supporting the
Department of Defense (DoD), which affirms Personnel
Recovery as "One of the Highest Priorities".
Angel Thunder provides the most realistic PR training
environment available to USAF Rescue forces, as well as
their Joint, Inter-agency, and International partners from
Brazil to Uruguay. Angel Thunder also involves collaboration
with Air Force Special Operation Command's Emerald Warrior
and the US Navy 3rd Fleet JWFC Training and Exercise, and
the U.S. Army and Air Force Reserve's Global Medic
exercises.
