July 28, 2012 - The Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility at Bagram Airfield is responsible for transporting wounded
servicemembers between the Craig Joint Theater Hospital and
awaiting medevac aircraft. The CASF executes this mission
day and night, relying mostly on volunteers.
