June 2017 - U.S. and British forces conduct military
maneuvers and fire
missions, including artillery, at the Bemowo Piskie
Training Area, Bemowo Piskie, in Poland during
Saber Strike 2017.
Saber Strike is a U.S. Army Europe-led multinational
combined forces exercise conducted annually to enhance the
NATO alliance throughout the Baltic region and Poland. The
2017 exercise includes integrated and synchronized
deterrence oriented training designed to improve
interoperability and readiness of the 20 participating
nations' militaries.
