1st Armored Division, headquartered at Fort Bliss, Texas,
offers the U.S. Army's only desert warfare specific course.
The course teaches junior Soldiers small-unit tactics in a
desert environment, ensuring desert readiness. The school
aims to make better junior leaders, empowering them with the
skills they need to survive and conduct operations in the
desert.
