January 21, 2016 - The 2nd battalion of the 325th Airborne
Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne
Division team up with 2-82 Combat Aviation Brigade to
conduct the largest Fort Bragg based air assault operation
in a decade. The air assault consisted of nineteen aircraft
moving the paratroopers from Simmons Army Airfield (Fort
Bragg, NC) to Camp Davis (Camp Lejeune training camp) to
conduct an airfield seizure and high value target raid. The
Paratroopers also focused on the implementation of the Nett
Warrior digital communications system.
