Fort Hood Purple Heart Defense of Freedom Ceremony
The III Corps and Fort Hood commander hosts a Purple Heart
and Defense of Freedom Medal Ceremony April 10, 2015 at the
III Corps Headquarters honoring the 13 people killed and
more than 30 injured in the November 5, 2009 shooting
rampage by convicted terrorist, Nidal Malik Hasan.
Forty-seven medals are presented during the ceremony.
