Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division flew five Kiowa Warrior
helicopters on an emotional, final
flight from Bagram Airfield and back, while demonstrating
the helicopter's capabilities, as a tribute to the Kiowas.
After years of combat service, the Kiowa air frame is
transitioning out of use by the U.S. Army.
