On January 11, 2011 the One Millionth Soldier in the R & R Program
arrived at the DFW airport.
On hand were Army Chief of Staff General George W. Casey, Major General Farrisee, Congressman Sam Johnson, Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert,
Tuskegee Airmen who were in World War II, and Vietnam Veterans along proud
loved ones, friends, and supporters.
(Troops arrive everyday ad DFW from Iraq and Afghanistan for their 14
day R & R.)
