Captain Matt Frye in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, talks about his service to our
country with Bob Calvert, Talking With Heroes . . . and takes Bob Calvert on a
tour of the Afghanistan National Army (ANA) Base. Captain Frye also talks
about the ANA soldiers and the partnership with the U.S. and ANA troops.
Captain Matt Frye continues his discussion with Bob Calvert about his
soldiers, the Afghans and the progress that has occurred during their 12 month
deployment . . . including their 10 months in Nuristan Province before some of
them moved to Jalalabad at the end of their deployment. He also reflects on his
career and family along with the importance of receiving the care packages and
letters received during deployment in harm's way.
