CJOAX 15-01 - Opposition Forces Engage Paratroopers
Opposition forces engage U.S. and U.K. paratroopers from the
2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, and 3rd
Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, 16 Air Assault Brigade,
in a simulated raid during Combined Joint Operational Access
Exercise 15-01 at Fort Bragg, NC on April 16, 2015. Several
troops discuss their roles as opposition forces during the
exercise.
CJOAX 15-01 is an 82nd Abn. Div.-led training event and is the
largest bilateral training exercise at Fort Bragg in 20 years. It demonstrates
interoperability between U.S. and U.K. Army soldiers in addition to
U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Royal Air Force airmen. U.S.
Marines stationed out of Camp Lejeune, N.C. also participated.
