CJOAX 15-01 - U.S. and U.K. Paratroopers Conduct A Raid
U.S. and U.K. paratroopers of the
2nd Brigade Combat Team,
82nd Airborne Division, and 3rd Battalion, The Parachute
Regiment, 16 Air Assault respectively, conduct a raid during
Combined Joint Operational Access Exercise 15-01 at Fort
Bragg, NC on April 15, 2015. CJOAX 15-01 is an 82nd Abn.
Div-led bilateral training event at Fort Bragg, N.C., taking
place April 13-20, 2015.
This is the largest exercise of its kind
held at Fort Bragg in nearly 20 years and demonstrates
interoperability between U.S. and U.K. Army soldiers in addition to
U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Royal Air Force airmen. U.S.
Marines stationed out of Camp Lejeune, N.C. also participated.
