July 2015 - Mississippi Guardsmen participate in
the 2015 Military Police Warfighter Competition held at the Camp McCain
Training Center in North Mississippi during their two week annual
training (on July 21st and 22nd). The Warfighter Competition is a
preliminary test for the Mississippi Army National Guard Soldier of the
Year Competition.
These competitions are divided into several
categories focusing on Physical Fitness, Map Reading, Marksmanship,
First Aid, Hand to Hand Combat and General Military Knowledge. The
winners of this completion will advance to the next level of the Soldier
of the Year Competition later this year.
