Whitefield Family Get Through Deployment
In the Marines, deployments are part of the job. But knowing that doesn't make
it any easier for families to get through months away from their loved ones.
Marine Capt. Nick Whitefield, his wife, Laura and their two young children were
able to weather his most recent deployment thanks to USO services like the USO /
United Through Reading Military Program and phone calls home.
