September 2017 - Coast Guard Cutter
Stratton boarding team members pursue and detain four
suspected drug smugglers after intercepting their vessel
with 17 bales of cocaine on board. Cutter Stratton was
patrolling the eastern Pacific as part of a
whole-of-government campaign to combat nefarious
transnational organized criminal networks that use illicit
drugs to fund violence, terrorism and other illegal
activities in the Western Hemisphere.
