The
crew of the Coast Guard Cutter James Rankin places the Francis Scott
Key Buoy in the Chesapeake Bay, June 5, 2014, at the approximate
location of where Key wrote the poem that later became the national
anthem.
The Coast Guard has been placing the buoy approximately
three miles from Fort McHenry since 1979.
