HOUSTON, TX (November 9, 2011) - Max Glazner, a Coast Guard World War II veteran from San Antonio, Texas, tells his story of his time in service.
Glazner
served on the Coast Guard Cutter Orchid and on a patrol
boat in New York Harbor. The latter duty was making sure
the way was clear for ships bringing back soldiers from
the war.
