President Barack Obama honors the 2013 TOP COPS, who have
shown bravery and valor in the line of duty, at the White House on May 11, 2013. The TOP COPS are chosen each year by the National Association of Police
Organizations, after being nominated by their fellow officers for their notable
service during the previous calendar year.
