1st Lt. James Salka receives the Bronze Star Medal
with combat distinguishing device during a ceremony aboard Marine Corps
Base Camp Lejeune on June 8, 2015. Salka, the executive officer of
Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2/6, was awarded for his service in
Afghanistan with 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment.
