Marines Decorated For Heroic Actions In Afghanistan
Highlights of Marines with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, being decorated for their actions
in Trek Nawa, Helmand province, Afghanistan in a ceremony at Camp Pendleton on
June 11, 2013.
First Lt. Stephen Huff and Cpl.
Jorge Salazar received the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" for valor. Sergeant
Trey Cholewa and Gunnery Sgt. Benjamin Stryffeler received the Navy and Marine
Corps Commendation Medal with Combat "V" for valor.
