WWII Veteran Jesse Hughes Receives Long Awaited Medals
Colonel Barry Bort, Chief of Staff, 143d ESC, Orlando, Fl.,
presents Jesse Hughes (94), a former POW and Veteran of D-Day and the Battle of
the Bulge with medals earned during the European campaign from 1941-1945 in
Jacksonville, FL on July 13, 2013. Following the ceremony, Col. Bort and family
members comment about Jesse Hughes finally receiving his medals ... with three
Bronze Star devices among them.
