THE BIG PICTURE 1974 "Hall of Heroes" episode examines the
history of courage among American fighting men and of the Medal of Honor which
was developed in tribute to that quality. In the course of the story, the
periods of conflict that are examined are American revolutionary times, the
Civil War, the War of 1812, the Indian War, the Spanish-American War, the two
world wars, and the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. The host of the film is John
Daly.
